Brief Answer:
Most likely
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.
I read your query and understand your concerns.
I like to inform you that Adderal XR have half life of 10-15 hours which means it remains the system for almost 15 hours at effective concentration. If you take another dose at 10 AM in morning there will be definitely red eyes at 2:30 PM on Thursday as the gap between two time points is just four and half hour.
I hope this helps you.
If you have more questions feel free to write back to me.
Thanks and regards.

no, the gap between doses will be from 3:15 am today(plus 15 hours) which would mean that at 6:15pm tonight, the effective concentration will be worn off. then from 6:15 pm tonight until 10:00 am on thursday will be16 hours without effective concentration. am I correct???? so shouldn't I be able to take a pill at 10 am Thursday without diluted or red eyes???? thx!
Brief Answer:
I think we are confusing
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for reverting back to me for clarification.
Suppose you take Adderal Xr 30 mg in the morning 10 AM on Thursday the concentration will be still high at 2:30 PM on the same day. I understand that before 10 AM of Thursday morning the concentration will be very low but at 2:30 PM it will be high and the chance of having red eyes is high.
In view of the above interpretation I feel it will be better if you avoid Thursday morning 10 AM dose.
I hope this helps you further.
Thanks and regards.

but I am prescribed Adderall xr to be taken once in the morning every day. so wouldn't it just be a normal reaction to taking my Adderall in the morning? I mean if red eyes are typical? I have been prescribed and taking this med for over 7 years. don't you think he knows what my eyes look like after taking one in the morning and having an appointment with him the same afternoon (my psychiatrist that is). thx!
Brief Answer:
Yes it is normal reaction

Hello,
Thanks for reverting back to me.
Conjunctival injection (redness of eye) is normal reaction after intake of adderal and your psychiatrist knows it well. I hope he described this particular side effect before prescribing it to you.
He knows it very well and I do not think you need to fear of red eyes provided you are taking it as prescribed.
I hope this clarifies further.
Thanks and regards.
