Brief Answer:
fractured nose
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
I am sorry to see that you broke your nose this weekend. The bruising you see is all related to the fracture and will resolve in about 1 week. There is no medication or other treatment that will reduce the bruising or the swelling under the eyes. This will all resolve though in about 1 week. That is the time for the body to absorb the blood from the bruising.
If you are not in pain now then there is no reason to use any pain medications in the future. If you experiencing pain I would recommend tylenol, or ibuprofen to help.
I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional questions

As for flying, will that be a problem (other than scaring the other passengers)
Brief Answer:
Flying no problem
Detailed Answer:
There is no reason that you can't fly. This will not affect your health while flying. Just wear a good pair of sunglasses that cover up the bruise.
