Brief Answer:
Psychological factors have an important role to play

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your problem. Incidentally your problem is not unique. It is faced by numerous males. Yet, there is no reason to consider that you are not physically normal. If even during masturbation or any other condition, your penis becomes erect, there is no reason to consider that you have any sexual disorder.

You need to understand that the act of sexual intercourse has two components - physical and psychological. Even though you are likely to be physically fine, for proper erection and intercourse, you need proper psychological involvement. You need proper and prolonged foreplay and automatically with proper involvement, you should get the erection that you require.

The next thing that you need to maintain is proper technique. The friction of the to and fro movement during sexual intercourse creates sexual stimulation. It makes you peak. But go slow when you feel that you are about to reach the climax. This will delay the climax and would help you to last longer.

Hope that helps.

Lately I have noticed during masturbation as well my penis is not getting as hard as it previously used to be. The ejaculation takes place in a comparatively flaccid state of the penis, which is worrying me more. Do you think I should give a proper visit to a doctor? Is it possible to any remedial actions in home without paying any visit to the doctor??

Brief Answer:
Sildenafil may be tried in such a case

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.

What I said could also reflect during masturbation. Anyway, you can take sildenafil (available in many brands like Viagra, Penegra etc.) 50 mg tablet half an hour before you decide to get sexually involved. As you get involved, you should get a sustained erection. If that happens, you can rest assured that your physical system is in proper shape. But please note that such medicines could have adverse effects if you have any heart disease. It could also give you an erection sustaining much longer than wanted, and thereby turning painful. So I would recommend taking it ONLY UNDER GUIDANCE OF A PHYSICIAN.

In case you do not get a proper erection in spite of sildenafil, you would need to go to a doctor anyway.
