Suggest Treatment For Frequent Headaches And Slight Neck Pain
Question: Hello,
About 4 weeks ago i was hit in the side of my head (near temple area) will a football. About a week later, i noticed 3 small bumps on my temple. One is soft and i can push in (no pain) and the other two are harder (still not pain to touch). I've had several headaches since the injury and some slight neck pain on the same side. I also ended up having a small blackeye that has since went away. Just looking for any information you can give to help me understand why these bumps are not going away? thank you for your time and help!

Brief Answer:
Trauma related micro-vessel bleed, no need to worry
Detailed Answer:
Welcome to HCM. Reasing your description it would seem that you had a micro-vessel tear or bleed, and what happens is that you can get what is called a small hematoma, it is basically blood that has dried under the skin surface, so it then takes as while to get re-absorbed back into the body. It will eventually go away and once in a while it is not re-absorbed and it stays there permanently. It is something I would just mention in passing to your next doctors visit just so that it is looked at by someone, I would not make a special trip to the doctors for it. I hope this puts you more at ease and good luck.
