Suggest Treatment For Fullness Of The Ear, Sensitivity To Noise And Hearing Loss

Question: Hello. 3 weeks ago I had a viral infection in the throat that I thought was strep but turned out to be viral. Large white spots. I also had a seasonal allergy attack about the same time. I was riding a horse one day and she XXXXXXX me, and my ear immediately began to feel full, and my hearing was reduced. I am a hearing instrument specialist so did a hearing test. I have mild loss in all frequencies. pretty much flat right at 35 db. I did go to the clinic just to be sure I did not have a perforation. I didn't but did have a sore in that ear. I did drops for a week. Called Monday when it was not better, and they put me on 3 days of predisone and Flonase. I will say my hearing improved 5-10 after the prednisone, but I still have a full sensation, sound sensitivity, and loss. Maybe a little tinnitus. No pain, no drainage, no dizziness, no headaches. It is more irritating than anything. I cannot get into our ent until October, so am looking to try anything possible before this drives me completely insane!
