Brief Answer:
More info needed

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to HealthcareMagic.

I am a medical doctor specialized in Neurology and would like to help you as much as I can. However regarding your current issue I am afraid some more details are needed to evaluate the cause of the headache.

Headaches can have so many different causes, so to be able to differentiate between them I hope you can give some more info like:

- Location of the headache (anterior, posterior, one side or bilateral etc)
- Character (pulsating, lancinating, stabbing, squeezing)
- Onset, sudden or gradual (by saying from taking a sleep you mean it woke you up?)
- Other symptoms like nausea, vomiting, fever, red eyes, nasal discharge, vision issues, weakness of the limbs, lack of balance or coordination etc
- Any previous history of headaches
- Any other conditions, trauma, have you measured your blood pressure today?

For now in the absence of any info I can only recommend over the counter pain killers like Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen.

I remain at your disposal for other questions possibly with the answers to the questions above.
