Question: I tripped and fell at home, hit my head on the tile floor. Most of the impact seems to have been around my eye socket. This happened on Sunday night and this morning I still have a headache. Do I need to see a Doctor?

Brief Answer:
You can wait.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Since there is only headache, and no other symptoms after you hit the head such loosing consciousness, nausea and vomitng, or other neurological symptoms, you should not worry.

Concussion symptoms may last for a couple of weeks, so your condition awaits.

Advil is okay to be used for headaches, a lot of fluids also should be used.

If still no improvement after one week, or new symptoms appear you should see your Doctor.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Take care.
