Suggest Treatment For Itching Sensation All Over Body In A Person With Cellulitis
Question: Good morning Dr. XXXXXXX
Thank you for your assistance,my doctor confirmed that I did have Cellulitis and I am now taking Flucloxacillin sodium Ca 500mg
4 times a day.I have now been taking these tablets for 14 days and have been given a further 10 days supply and I have 3 days before they are finished. The redness is very slowly going but the itching is driving me crazy. There appears to be very small
Pimple like spots just below the surface of the skin and the area is very tender to touch and still feels quite hot to touch.
Is there any thing that I can take or apply that will calm the area down as I don't see my doctor for another 3 days.and I feel like I want to scratch it repeatly.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Yours faithfully
