Brief Answer:
Needs to be evaluated with X Rays

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query. There are a number of factors to be considered in order to identify the possible cause of pain in your hips and knees. Bursitis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, trauma, or even spondylosis could be the cause. However, Vitamin D as well as calcium deficiency leading to osteoporosis could be an important contributory cause.

Hot compress should provide relief. I would insist you to take paracetamol or acetaminophen 500 mg two tablets together when needed. This should ease the problem. I would also insist you to get a X Ray of Lumbosacral spine (AP and lateral) as well as both knees (AP and lateral) done and to share the reports (am image of the X Rays would be even better). You might also need to see a physical therapist with the reports. Based on the findings he would be able to demonstrate to you proper exercises that should provide relief.

Feel free to write back.

Regards
