Suggest Treatment For Lichenoid Dermatitis
Question: My father is suffering from lichenoid dermatitis. What type of medicine or body creams can be used? His age is 70. he has heart problems as well as BP.
it is dermatitis like eczema. can use cream containing steroid with antibiotic and antihistamine try pregmatarointment

He is getting rashes and boils. Will this ointment work? Can you suggest something else too. Due to itching he is not able to sleep even.

alredy sugested pregmatar. for itching can take tab levocetrizine.

i have alreadysugested oneointment thatis pregmatar. it contains coal tar.other wise you can get it examined by dermatologist for proper local examination and diagnosis.after diagnosis treatment can be advised. i have suggested to avoid steroid. you may get good response but it will only mask the symptoms and subsequently you may develop dependency and develop all side effect of steroid. you have to go for tapering. but it is not long run treatment.for itching can take tab levocetrizine 5 mg daily in morning and apply caladryl lotion. but to avoid steroid due to obvious reason
