Vaccination is advised.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX, welcome to HealthcareMagic.
Thanks for posting to us.
Minor scratches/abrasions on skin without bleeding belongs to exposure category 2.
In this case, there is a small chance of transmission and WHO recommends immediate administration of vaccine and observation of the animal. If the animal remains healthy for a period of 10 days after exposure, treatment can be discontinued.
In your case, I would suggest to start vaccination schedule soon and immunize your pet.
Kindly see your primary physician.
