Question: My son seeing laptop on bed by bending his neck today. He is having neck pain now.
Please suggest a muscle relaxant gel to reduce pain.

Try diclofenac ointment

Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
I think it could be postural pain due to muscle spasm.
You can try local diclofenac ointment to see if it helps.
Try hot fomentation too.
Muscle relaxants are not required unless spasm is severe and not responding to analgesic ointment like I mentioned.
Ensure proper posture to decrease further aggravation.
If not improving you must get him examined by your doctor.
