Suggest Treatment For Nodules In The Pelvic Area Causing Difficulty In Moving
Question: there are nodules found in my left side. I have been having problems with that side for years. I had problem in 1989 and after laproscopic exam found ovary collapsed and grown to pelvic. scar tissue from pelvic area up to lower under breast. Now problem that I have been complaining about for years has gotten so bad that it affects my back. I have back problems (3 back surgeries) recent spinal cord stimulator to lumbar and cervical area. My doctor sent me to gastro doc but I had already had colonoscopy 2 yrs ago. They don't know what kind of doctor to send me to, but in the meantime I am suffering to the point that I have to have help sometimes to turn over and sometimes after going to bathroom when I stand my back acts as though it is going to go out and I know the symptoms well been through it a couple of times. when it is like that I have to grip onto my sink and my husband has to come help me to bed. this inability to move happens when I am in a car and start to get out, when I sit and start to get up and even when I start to walk from one room to another. what kind of doctor do I need to see. Could this be an oncology issue, the orthopedics don't think that it is theirs. My father was not in the home but I think that he died from cancer and I have had pre cancerous polyps
Brief Answer:
General surgeon
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
I understand your concern as you have been through a lot of suffering with multiple surgeries and no one seems to be able to help you get well. The best way to know what these nodules are to have them biopsied. This will prove whether you have cancer or not. You have to see a general surgeon for the same.
Do get back to me if you have further queries.
