Suggest Treatment For Numbness In Hands And Feet
Question: over the last 6 to 9 months i have had increased numbness in first my hands, and recently my forearms, and feet. I am a 44 yr old female. 5ft 8inches and weigh 9 stone 4lbs. I am fit. Work outdoors all day, but increased lethargy is becoming an issue. My hands shake at times for no apparent reason and I spill the coffee or tea. i know , on a recent blood test (after emergency services were called) that my blood sugar was 2.0 Could i have developed diabetes?

Whatever the symptoms you have mentioned might be due to hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) which is most likely in your case (blood sugar level of 2mmol/L) or peripheral neuropathy.
Blood sugar level of 2 mmol/L denote hypoglycemia and not diabetes.
You should consult endocrinologist as early as possible for evaluation for cause of hypoglycemia.
