Question: I had blood at my recent bowl movement. There we sharp pains on my left side below my waste. The pains have been there before but were never so sharp. Should I be seen today?rollojim@

if you are feeling well and there is no paleness or dizziness then I don't think this is an emergency. You should first check you red blood count and if this is normal then most common cause are hemorrhoids and polyps. If red blood count is decreased then you should do colonoscopy.
