Suggest Treatment For Pain And Swelling In The Leg While Having Cellulitis
Question: this is the current state of my cellulitis. its still swollen and painful but the redness is subsiding. however, the pain is unbearable and im on my feet at work in work shoes for long long hours. i am taking bactrum the antibiotic and putting neosporin on it but the infection iant budging much. what can i do for work to make it less painful and not get any more infected

- First of all to get full rest to the foot and elevating the foot above heart level in lying down position to reduce the edema and hte pain.
- You need to take off.
- May be a change over or add on an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory medicine like Ibuprofen if it suits you.
- Apply Solution povidone iodine to the wound, foot and below knee to keep the area sterile.
This is the only way to get a cure.
