Suggest Treatment For Pain Due To Arthrosis Of The Hip

Yesterday, the pain is no longer only at night or only in my hip/upper thigh. Now, if I touch the back of my shin, any pressure on it can cause pain. I am getting worried.
Sounds like Arthrosis of the Hip
Detailed Answer:
Hello. I have been through your question a d understand your concern.
According to your complain I think you might suffer from a slight arthrosis in you hip (coxo-femoral joint) explaining the pain from your hip to your leg. And furthermore the pain on your shin can be explained by knee involvement, maybe not to arthrosis, but to a obligated antalgic position of your foot due to the pain in your hip.
Gabapentin is not useful in such eventuality. I recommend taking some NSAID if you don't have any contraindication, like Ibuprofen 400 mg twice daily associated with ranital 150 mg twice daily.
You should talk to your GP about a rheumatological consult in case the pain persists. Anyway, to the moment the situation seems not be worrisome.
Hope this helps, please feel free for further questions.
