Suggest Treatment For Pain In Lower Back
Due to back muscle strain. Not sciatica.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Back muscle strain is one of the MOST common causes of acute to severe lower back pain. Lifting a heavy object, twisting, or a sudden movement can cause muscles or ligaments stretch or develop microscopic tears.
For pain and spasm to go you have to do back exercises to relive the spasm associated with this. Doing hot fomentation and applying muscle relaxant gel will also be helpful in relieving the spasm.
Correct your posture while sitting. Take frequent breaks during your work.
Lie on hard bed. Avoid forward bending and lifting heavy weight.
You can take anti inflammatory drug like ibuprofen to relieve pain.
Ideally, you need to visit a physiotherapist for a couple of sessions and also take any good muscle relaxant drug along with application of topical local analgesic spray/ointment for relief.
If the pain persists, I would strongly recommend you to visit an orthopedic surgeon.
I hope this answers your query.

Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
You can continue doing the exercises that you routinely do if it does not add to your pain and spasm. Doing a hot fomentation twice a day will help.
Hope my answer is helpful.
