Suggest Treatment For Pain In My Lower Back
Need more details
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for your query.
I need to know more details to be better able to help.
- How bad is the pain?
- For how long do you have pain?
- Have you done any tests including blood tests and x-ray?
- Do you have any other symptoms?
If your pain is of less than 1 month duration and is mild then it can be safely managed with pain killers like ibuprofen or aceclofenac (for bad pain). Avoid driving bike on rough roads. Avoid sitting on chair for more than half an hour at a stretch. Taking walks in also a good idea. Avoid lifting heavy weights. Sleep on a semi-hard mattress in the most comfortable position.
Most back pains clear within a month. If it is bad or it has stayed longer than 1 month then seek consultation of an orthopedic surgeon.
