Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Ankles, Wrists And Fingers

Suggestive of inflammatory arthritis.
Detailed Answer:
Dear Madam, Good morning.
Thanks for posting your query on healthcare magic.
After having gone through the history given in your query, you seem to have some sort of "fleeting" or migratory types of arthritis of inflammatory origin.
It occurs when pain spreads from one joint to another. In this type of arthritis, the first joint may start to feel better before pain starts in a different joint.
It is most oftenly associated with inflammatory types like rheumatoid arthritis, gout, lupus or rheumatic fever.
In view of the above I would advise you to consult a physician or rheumatologist for clinical examination & to carry out certain lab tests ("arthritis profile") such as Erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), C-reactive protein (CRP), Rheumatoid factor (RF), Antinuclear antibodies (ANAs), Antistreptolysin O titer & cyclic citrullinated peptide (CCP) antibody for the accurate diagnosis.
Meanwhile Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as Ibuprofen or Naproxen may be effective in treating both pain and inflammation.
For immediate pain relief, you may also apply topical creams containing Capsaicin or Mefenemic acid.
Hope the suggestions given above would be useful.
If you have any follow up query, kindly let me know.
Best wishes.

Yes, vaccination could have caused this problem.
Detailed Answer:
Dear Madam, Good morning.
Thanks for your reply.
Generally, the MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella virus) vaccine is very safe, however it can cause injection site reactions (pain, redness, or swelling), fever, rash, headache, dizziness, joint or muscle pain in some individuals.
Pain and stiffness in the joints occur 1-3 weeks after receiving the vaccine mostly in teenage or adult women who did not already have immunity to the rubella component of the vaccine and it last for around three days.
So, in view of the above explanation there is a possibility of joint pains could have been caused by MMR vaccination.
However, if the joint pain persists even after one week, then you need to be examined by a doctor as suggested earlier.
Hope to have clarified your concerns.
Wishing you best of your health.
