Suggest Treatment For Pain On Side Of Back And Nausea
Question: I have had pain on my right side of my back area for a week now. Started middle lower back but isn't as sharp now & moved to the right side. It's a deep nauseating pain. I'm using heat, ice & a tens unit but I'm still feeling pain & feel really sick. Have diarhea today with it but no fever.

Im trying to avoid a Dr. Appt & expensive testing if its sciatic issues that can't be treated. Wouldnt i need to present a fever to have kidney issues?

After reading your post, it seems that you might be having infection of the urinary tract ( UTI ). A urine examination including routine/microscopic and culture / sensitivity test will be helpful in knowing the causative organism and the appropriate antibiotic for the treatment.
In mild infection, fever may sometimes not be present. Still I will advise for temperature recordings 2-3 times daily for few days.
You can take the treatment advised earlier till you get the reports of the previously mentioned investigations.
