Brief Answer:
Knee osteoarthritis
Detailed Answer:
good evening
thank you for writing on health care magic
Well, firstly I would like to know a few things to see why the pain originated...
1. do you experience any knee pains on walking?
2. any time you twisted your knees before the. pain started?
3. any swelling in the knees joint
4. any associated fever at present?
for. now you can take acetaminophen or paracetamol 650 mg for the. pain. They are not very strong painkillers but will provide some relief. Also take rest and don't exert your knee. Use warm water bottle on it as well
do let me know these queries

I apologize for the late reply.. rather very late.. I was out of town and had my exam which just got done today... so somehow lost track of the reply
Well, your symptoms are more consistent with osteoarthritis of the knees.. Probably due to over exertion or getting twisted in the wrong direction it may have got triggered
If the pain and swelling is still persisting I would suggest you go for short course of ibuprofen with antacids for 3 to 5 days.. We sometimes give Injection in the joint to relieve the pain as well..
For future, you should avoid sitting on the floor or cross legged. wear comfortable footwear with soft sole and start physiotherapy for your quadriceps.. this will help strengthen the joint
Apologizes again for late reply
