Brief Answer:
X-ray looks normal;condition of other joints?

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for posting
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. To understand better, I have few questions to ask-
1. Is there any injury?
2. Is the knee warm, tender to touch, swelling?
3. Range of movement at left knee as compare to right knee?
For now my suggestions are-Ice fomentation, Rest to knee, Ibuprofen with local pain killer gel application. There is nothing special about diet in the case of knee pain.
Looking forward to your reply.
Take care

Brief Answer:
Early arthritis seems to be the cause;MRI test

Detailed Answer:
Hello
It’s good to see you.
Based on your reply and with normal x-ray appearance the most likely cause seems to be early arthritis. To confirm this best Investigation is MRI of knee.
Take balanced diet rich in calcium (1000mg/day) and vitamin D (1000 i.u. /day) along with vitaminB12, B6.Avoid exercises whenever there is pain in knee.
Hope this answers your query.

Brief Answer:
As follows

Detailed Answer:
Hi
It’s good to see you
I have gone through the MRI and thyroid reports. Regarding thyroid she must not skip her regular dose of thyroxin to keep TSH under control.
The MRI report is largely normal except for minor tear (grade1) of meniscus (C shape cartilage). This needs to assessed by physical examination to assess the disability caused by it. This tear, if it is significant leads to frequent locking of knee that is patient is not able to either bend it or make it straight, does she has that?
Most of the time it (Grade1) Improve with knee exercises, pain killer and physiotherapy for few weeks. If the symptoms persist she may require surgical intervention in form of arthroscopic surgery.
Hope this answer your query. I shall be glad to help you further.
Take care
