Suggest Treatment For Painful Mouth Ulcer

not to worry
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to healthcaremagic,
Oral ulcers are very common. They can occur due to viral infections, sharp teeth , ill fitting dentures, bad oral hygiene, vitamin deficiencies, trauma to the oral mucosa, and many other causes. Many times it is very difficult to ascertain the exact cause.
These ulcers heal on their own and no treatment is usually required. Symptomatic treatment is sufficient. For the pain you can take pain killers like ibuprofen or paracetamol. You can apply lignocaine based gels directly over the ulcer like Smyle gel. These pain killer gels should be applied 20 minutes before eating food. Also use chlorhexidene mouth wash 3 times a day to improve oral hygiene. You can also take multivitamin capsules for 15 days.
If the ulcer fails to heal in the next few days then see a doctor.
