Question: I have had a headache for 2 weeks now (I do not usually get headaches). Right side of head, mild constant pain. I believe it came on after I cracked my neck. The headache is associated with neck pain on the right side as well. Today I woke up with tingling in fingers on the left hand.

Brief Answer:
You could try symptomatic treatment for now.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for posting your query.

I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist, and I would try my best to help you.

I have noted your clinical details. Based on this, it is most likely to be due to a pinched nerve in the neck region. This can cause neck pain, headache and tingling in fingers.

As of now, you can take symptomatic treatment. Naproxen tablets would be helpful for relieving headaches and pregabalin capsules for tingling. If symptoms persist beyond a week, you can see a neurologist and get MERI scan done.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,
