Detailed Answer:
Hi,thank you for posting your query on health care magic.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
Sometimes grinding the teeth hardly, can cause inflammation in the temporo-mandibular joint region causing pain in the jaw region. This pain can radiate to the ear also.
He may find relief by taking Analgesic with Anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen.
Also avoid complete opening of mouth, eating very hard food for a few days.
Warm compresses over the jaw will also give symptomatic relief.
Regarding talking very loudly, the most common possibility is that he has reduced hearing.
Wax is the most common reason.Other reasons might be Glue ear, etc.
I would advise you to consult an Otolaryngologist (ENT)Doctor for examination of the ear and Ear cleaning if wax is found.Hearing test called Pure Tone Audiogram may be needed after consulting the Doctor.
Hope this answers your question.I would be happy to answer if you have any follow-up questions.Take care.
