Suggest Treatment For Raised Red Pustules On The Shin

Question: 3 days ago I noticed, on my shin, an area of raised, dark red pustules, in a an area where I had a scratch about 1.5 inches long. I have some peripheral neuropathy, likely from Vitamin B12 deficiency (20 years on ppi's) so have little feeling and did not notice itching or burning. I began taking a broad-spectrum antibiotic and using polysporin. I have since developed a few new pustules several inches away. They are not discoloured. The original lesion is lighter in colour than originally.
Brief Answer:
Possibly due to contact with insect secretions.

Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone through your query and have checked the attached image. It seems that there has been an allergic reaction to some insect lick or bite.
You need to apply some emollient like calamine lotion topically and take antiallergic like Cetirizine 10mg once daily for the next few days. I do not see any role of antibiotics. I would suggest you not to self medicate with antibiotics- they are likely to do more harm than good.
Let me know if I could help further.
Kind regards
