
Suggest Treatment For Rashes On The Shoulder Of A Teenager

Question: rash started on my 13 yr old granddaughter's right shoulder. Seem to be honeycomb in shape at first, then becomes circular as it grows together, with clear center, and scaley, crusty residue. Now on low back, spreading up and under breasts. Up neck and becoming established on face (cheek).

This often happens when the body for some reasons attaches it own cells. Drugs that suppress the immune system such as steroids and retinoids could be of help. However, before talking about treatment possibilities, let’s get this diagnosis right first. Visit a dermatologist and let me know what he/she thinks.
