Question: I have been experiencing ten days of fever ranging 99.1 - 102.6 and today it is96.1. I went to ER yesterday...passed out twice. BP 134/62 adn 129/56. VErY weak, nausea, headaches, chills, hot flashes. I am 68...this is not like me. I had a simple knee scope two weeks ago and although it still hurts , there is no heat to the touch, swelling or redness. I can barely get up and go to bathroom. Oh yes, I also take a statin and amitzia for ibs-c.

Brief Answer:
If fever returns, it requires to be investigated

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for your query.
I understand your concern.
Fever for ten days is likely to be due to an infection, probably bacterial.
You were dehydrated from the fluid loss which accompanies fever and that is the reason for the low diastolic blood pressure and the reason for your passing out.
The normal temperature now may be due to the Ibuprofen.
If the fever returns, it is better to see a doctor, have yourself examined and investigated to know the site and nature of infection.
Asymptomatic urinary infection is a possibility.
You knee may also have to be examined as you had a recent arthroscopy.
Your medicines are not the cause of fever.
Shall appreciate an update on your health.
