Suggest Treatment For Recurring Headache That Responds To Advil

Question: I have had a headache for 3-4 days. It gets a little better after taking advil but keeps coming back. It feels like I was hit on the top right side of my head but I haven't bumped my head.

Thanks for the query

It looks like you are suffering from migraine. Which is usually seen in males and it is one sided. Here is what you should do

1. Advil is not a very good drug for headaches. I recommend Naproxen twice a day instead for headaches
2. If the headache continues please see a neurologist for a CT brain, a lesion in the brain should not be missed.
3. There are a few known triggers of migraine, example: hunger, inadequate sleep, dehydration.
4. Do not watch tv right before sleeping
