Suggest Treatment For Red Rashes On The Lower Left Leg
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: I have a very red rash on my lower left leg that appeared yesterday and has gotten worse today. It is about 4" x 4" in diameter, slightly raised and seems to have pink radiating out from it. I am also light headed and fatigued - not sure if my rash and other symptoms go hand in hand or if they are totally separate. The light headednes and fatigue started yesterday as well.

Brief Answer:
Take oral & topical antibiotics
Detailed Answer:
It seems to be cellulitis.
You need to take oral and topical antibiotics.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to take tablet cephalexin 500 mg twice daily for 5-7 days and apply mupirocin cream on the affected areas twice daily.
These are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.
For pain you can take anti inflammatory medicines like tablet ibuprofen.
