Question: Thank you...I was on the antibiotic linezolid for 28 days because of septic arthritis in a finger joint. My finger has healed but I have horrible abdominal pain/discomfort--distended stomach and abdomen, pain at night, back pain, unable to get back to my regular schedule.

Brief Answer:
Need to rule out Chronic Pancreatitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi there

Thanks for the query

You need to be evaluated for Pancreatitis because this can cause abdominal and back pain.

Do get blood tests like Serum Lipase, Serum Amylase. CT Scan should show features Of Chronic Pancreatitis if any.

Avoid gluten, junk food, fatty food, smoking and drinking alcohol.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
