Hi i was just diagnosed with trich and I took the meds however one of the joints in my finger hurts very badly and I've never had this happen before I assume this is what arthritis would feel like is there anyway the two are connected? I looked it up and this may be septic arthritis, do you think a campus wellness center could test or treat for that or would i have to go to a hospital?
Arthritis of finger joint has no relation to Trichomonas infestation.
There are different modalities of dosages as far as Trichomonas treatment is concerned, ranging from single day therapy, 5 days therapy or 7 days therapy etc. Similarly Trichomoanas can be treated by drugs like Metranidazole, Tinidazole and Ornidazole etc. Your treating physician will choose the appropriate regimen suits for you after examined you.
