Suggest Treatment For Severe Acid Reflux And Diarrhea

monitor vomiting or loose stools, exclusive breastfeeding, head raising
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the query,
I understand this can be very disturbing. However, it is not so rare to experience this in children of her age.
A good start to manage her reflux should be slightly raising her head above the other areas of the body. A small pillow could be sufficient to give her some relieve.
It is important however to know if any new foods have been introduced to her diet. Spacing the number of breastfeeds at this point could help relieve her too.
A change in diet could also explain changes in stool frequency. Any change in the usual preparation she takes could also explain loose stools.
I suggest you stay a bit patient and check if she vomits or next and also monitor her temperature. Exclusive breastfeeding for now, spacing the feeds, slightly raising her head with respect to rest of the body are good initial measures. However, you need to monitor the stool frequency, temperature, general outlook and any vomiting or reflux. These measures generally should relieve the child. Give much oral rehydration solution to the child to avoid her from being dehydration.
In case these measures fail or symptoms persist or aggravate, you might need to see your emergency Dr.
It is not advisable to stop diarrheas in children as such, and especially at this age.
Its too early to bother much now. thanks and kind regards,
