Question: I have had bad allergies to cats my whole life , we got a Kitten yesterday for the kids , are kittens allergic ?

usually asthma , eyes itching etc but today I woke up with arm and leg weakness and kind of dizzy or disorientation , could that be something to do with allergy with the cat

Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
If you have severe allergy with cats then possibility of allergy with kittens is also high.
And yes,kittens are allergic. You can have allergy with kittens.
But your present symptoms like arm and leg weakness, dizziness and disorientation are less likely due to allergy.
It seems more of central nervous system (CNS) symptoms.
I want to ask few things first.
1. Do you have asthma worsening during these symptoms?
2. Do you have headache and palpation with these symptoms. ?
