Question: Three days ago i had sudden lower right back pain which progressed and started going down my right leg (no apparent strain or injury). it would get unbearable while still especially while sitting or driving. Advil helped with the pain, although, I began having the chills and cold sweats on and off. my hands felt kinda swollen and harder to make fist, tingly, and cold. eyes feel slightly irritated and my urine had been a clear pale yellow ever since this started. Today the symptoms are beginning to lessen except for the pale yellow urine. Please help me Dr.

Brief Answer:
Normal change in color of urine.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concern.

The normal color of urine ranges from pale yellow to dark yellow.

Ibuprofen (Advil) usually causes pinkish color. While in your case, you noted a change to pale yellow color of urine.

I think it might be due to increase in water intake perhaps during these days or any vit B supplement you might be taking.

As you had also chills, sweats, right sided pain, my suspicion is to go for possible hepatitis.
Blood Hepatitis tests panel along with Liver function test, and abdominal ultrasound are the next steps. Please discuss this with your doctor.

However, I'm still thinking about the normal change in color due to increased water intake.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if there's any further queries.
