Detailed Answer:
Hi
thank you for trusting HCM
I read your query and understand your concern
I saw your examination and read the report of your study
Unfortunately it is confirmed that you are suffering from sleep apnea
As CPAP has been not helpful the only treatment is surgery
Unfortunately there are several methods and it is characterised by the cause which has developed sleep apnea
In general words if there is something wrong with nasal area surgery modify just it
So before deciding to go for surgery your doctors should be sure about the cause which is causing sleep apnea
In my opinion as I saw from the examinations you have uploaded you should go for nasal surgery or UPP
Nasal surgery is minimal and produce a better function of breathing during night
Unfortunately it is not always successful
It will not be if sleep apnea is caused from below obstruction
UPP ( uvulopalatopharyngoplasty) is almost always effective
Unfortunately it is the most radical surgery and patient suffer pain during first week
In my opinion you should go for nasal surgery and antibiotics need to be used for some days
Discuss with your doctors about my opinion
Hope my answer will help you in making the right decision and in fast recovery
Wishing you good health
Please feel free to ask any other question or discuss for further doubts
