You are having osteoarthritis of right knee joint.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query
I'm Dr Sudhir Kumar
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. I think that you have dislocation knee due to osteoarthritis. Rest and splinting can help.
You are having osteoarthritis of right knee joint as it is common in your age. It is degenerative ( age related) disease. Glucosamine is helpful in slowing and to some extent repair the degeneration. Diacerine is also similar drug. For pain relief rest, elevation, hot fomentation and analgesic such as ibuprofen are helpful. If pain is severe strong analgesic such as tramadol is useful. Local application of diclofenac gel will be soothing.
Your condition can further be assessed by x ray of both hips in standing position.
You can discuss with your doctor about it.
Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then I will be happy to help you.
Wishing you a good health.
Take care.

Hi
Welcome back
Rest is only advisable for 1-2 weeks as you got your knee out( subluxation) recently. Once your pain reduces you can continue to your activities.
After seeing the condition of your hips and knees on standing x ray views , further decision about joint replacement (Hip and Knee replacement) may be taken.
You can discuss with your doctor about it.
