Suggest Treatment For Severe Vaginal Itching

Question: i have a severe itching in my vaginal area from last 2 days. i feel like scratching all the time, this makes me very uncomfortable in public areas. i also had viral fever from past 1 week and was taking few medicines prescribed by the doctor. is it that the medicines did not suit me? or there could be some other reason. please help me overcome my problem and prescribe me with good medication. thankyou !

Were you taking antibiotics ?
If you were taking antibiotics for the viral infection, then it is possible that this may have led to yeast ( fungus ) infection in the vagina.
Do you have any redness / white discharge / pain ?
Are you sexually active ?
It is best to consult a gynecologist and have an internal exam with a vaginal swab to confirm the type of infection.
SO please get that done.
