Suggest Treatment For Severe Vomiting, Fatigue And Loss Of Appetite

His symptoms include: vomiting in the morning 3-4 times even just water, urge to vomit all day long, stomach pain, no appetite and can only eat one or two bites of fresh fruit, veg, rice or soups, very tired and lethargic. This has been ongoing since November 23.
We've been to a gastrologist. He suggested it was gastritus after taking a CT scan and edoscopy and prescribed some medicines. I don't know what else to suggest to the doctors. When the symptoms were not relieved we went back 2 more times to get different medications.

Hi and thank your for asking!
I am sorry for the situation that your boyfriend is in.
I read carefully all your concerns and I can say as follows:
1. You are reporting that he has vomiting, stomach pain, lethargic. These symptoms may be due to GI bacterial infection( H.Pylori, Campylobacter species etc,,)
2. The symptoms like fatigue and lethargic may be related with dehydration due to vomiting.
3. It would be great if you upload to me his medical data ( endoscopy and Ct scan) so I can check them by myself.
If I were your treating doctor I would suggest to :
- discuss with your doctor to start antibiotic treatment like Cefixim or metronidazole.
- start IV administration of liquids , electrolytes and antibiotics
- consult with infectious disease specialist
- continue to use Nexium . antacid and domperidon
- perform blood work, electrolytes and serological exams for infectious disease.
- take plenty of water and fresh frutis juice
From what you are describing he needs as soon as possible hospitalization and IV(Intravenous) treatments.
wish him fast recovery

-took strong antibiotics, but perhaps different names here
-started round the clock IV fluids
-blood tests show no signs of infection or infectious diseases
-continues to take nexium and pepcid
-drinking water and juices but still very easy for him to vomit it up
Today the doctor says she has no more tests to run and does not know the root problem or how to stop the symptoms. We had a Chinese Traditional Medicine doctor perform acupuncture today. She suggested it was stress related and to relax and drink more warm water. His gastroenterology doctor gave him a perscription which is like Xanax and sent us home. I have a video image to send of his internal organs but can not upload mp4.

Hi back and sorry for my late.
Thank you for giving more of your medical data.
I read carefully all your medical reports and I can say that there is nothing wrong with upper gastrointestinal tract.
It is a good sign that you feel better after IV fluids.
With regards to vomiting during the day , it has a lot of causes except GI Issues, like
- psychological
- neurological.
Meantime continue to use Xanax. If your symptoms persist even after 2 weeks on Xanax than please consult a neurologist to rule out neurological causes of vomiting.
Wish him fast recovery.

Hi back my dear
First of all I can not open all your reports . Some of them are not opening.
You haven't send me any Ct scan. please can you reload it to me.
With regards to chronic pancreatitis, yes vomiting can be caused from chronic pancreatitis, but usually it is associated with diarrhea too.
And in such cases cisapride ( prokinetik drug) is recommended together with pancreatic enzymes like Creon.
You are mentioning autoimmune disorders and I want to ask you :
- which was the cause of his pancreatitis ?
- does the doctors suspect about autoimmune pancreatitis?
- has he used alcohol ?
- dose he has any other autoimmune disorders?
There are a lot of test used to confirm autoimmune Gastrointestinal dismotility like:
--Antineuronal nuclear autoantibody-type 1
- IGg
- motility study of gastrointestinal tract.
He has done the motility study with contrast as I see on the reports and everything has been normal.
Hope it was helpful to you.
