HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

These symptoms are usually due to a viral illness though sore throat can sometimes be due to bacterial infection (strep throat) or due to allergy associated post nasal drip (the drip causes inflammation of the throat and pain).

Blood occurs because the lining of the throat is inflamed and irritated. This resolves as the illness resolves. In a setting like this (sore throat, post nasal drip, sore muscles), blood is not usually due to a serious cause.
If the blood was seen persistently or there were no other symptoms but the blood then this would be alarming.

There are different types of dayquil, with different ingredients, dayquil sinex or dayquil cold and flu would be the best option for you.
These contain a pain killer and decongestant (the decongestant would reduce the post nasal drip).
The dayquil cold and flu also has a cough suppressant (dextromethorphan) if you are coughing.

Adding an antihistamine such as benadry , claritine ,allegra or zyrtec would also help.

You can consider using another anti inflammatory pain killler along with or instead of the aspirin to help with the sore throat and sore muscles eg naproxen or voltaren.
A topical pain killer such as chloroseptic spray or gargle, covonia throat spray, may also help with sore throat

Rest and fluids are also important.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
