Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat With Swallowing Difficulty

Question: I have sore throat started from 23rd dec night. Till it is paining. I m suffering fro swallowing. I checked with torch at back of the throat and found blisters colour is off whitr snd red strap at right edge of throat. The climate is cold and varying temperature between -3 to +7. I m uploading photograph of my throat. Can you please highlight from what exactly i m suffering and what will be the treatment?

I have read your query , seen your picture and understand your concern.

After reading your clinical history it appears that you are most probably having
Acute pharyngitis . It causes congestion & inflammation of posterior pharyngeal wall which result into throat pain with swallowing problem .

If I were your treating Doctor for this case , I would advice
Antiseptic Mouth Wash twice daily like Betadin gargle ,
Antihistaminic Tab Loratadine 10mg at night &
anti inflammatory analgesic Tab Ibuprofen thrice daily .

You will get relief .

You will need to see your doctor to get a prescription.

The blisters are very much off white colour. More preciously grey. Are these canker sores or fungus? Is it viral or bacterial.
Can you prescribe me some medicines with its clinical composition? I m living out of XXXXXXX and need to get medicine with its composition. What causes acute pharyngitis?

In your case , Blisters are mild enlarged lymphoid follicles in the posterior pharyngeal wall (PPW) , it is not canker sores or fungus.

It starts has viral , cold , post nasal drip if not control result into secondary bacterial infection . Allergy predisposes .

Do Antiseptic Mouth Wash like Betadin gargle twice daily,
Use Antihistaminic Tab Claritin (Loratadine 10mg) at night &
anti inflammatory analgesic Tab Motrin (Ibuprofen 400mg) thrice daily .

Take drug after food .

Today i found there are 3 abscess sort of thing at throat wall. These are very similar like bowel. Looks like filled with pus. Not like canker sore. What can be these? Very painful. I think the pain during swallowing is due to these.

Hi doctor
I uploaded photo of my throat. I started taking medicines. Antibiotic called siprofloxacin 500 mg. The pain reduced. In the photo u can see pimple sort of thing clearly visible. I marked those with blue. What is it? Why it happen?

One on right side is lymphoid follicle with micro abscess & one in middle is lymphoid follicle hypertrophy .

Continue betadine gargles & other medication , you will get relief .
