Suggest Treatment For Spreading Rashes On The Stomach

Recommendations given- see below
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for asking at healthcaremagic.
I carefully read your question and also checked the image uploaded.
Do you suffer from any chronic conditions? Do you have more frequent infections recently compared to before? Any weight loss or fatigue?
You were recommended a few weeks ago to have some local treatment for the rash- did you apply it and how did you respond to it?
As i could distinguish from the picture the rash is in the lower abdomen, do you think it is in the area that is in contact with the metal part of the belt?
If you think the rash is at the area in contact with your belt than you will need to try some steroid cream for 4-5 days.
If it is not at the area where the metal part of the belt is and especially if you have had recently more common infections compared to before or you are fatigued or loosing weight, please have a visit with your doctor.
The lesions seem grey to blue and we need to rule out some skin growths like Kaposi sarcoma which is a very rare condition that develops in people with reduced immune system. This is as explained very rare and probably not your case but it would be good to rule it out. Tests for immune system might be recommended and HIV test also as a routine test in these cases.
CBC, ERS are good routine tests to be done to give a general idea of how you are doing.
I hope this is helpful and answers to your question but please feel free to reply if more clarification is needed on this.
Kind regards,
Antoneta Zotaj, MD
