Suggest Treatment For Stomach Soreness After Taking Pain Medication And Laxative
Question: Hi I just had a tonsillectomy, and pushing at all plus pain meds won't allow me to go to the bathroom! I can't swallow any pills, and have tried a laxative, but that is making my stomach so sore. Any suggestions?

Stomach soreness after laxative use may be related to
- increased bowel movement and intestinal activity
- Side effects of pain meds (especially NSAId).
In order to relieve your constipation I would recommend as follows:
- Use large enemas
- Use extra virgin olive Oil 1 table spoon 3 times a day
- Drink plenty of water
- Use antacids (Daviscon) otc for stomach soreness.
