Suggest Treatment For Subconjunctival Hemorrhage In Eye
Question: This red dot appeared in my 12 year old daughters eye. is it anything we need to do anything about?
Brief Answer:
No need to be worried about it.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
I am Dr. Dadapeer K, an ophthalmologist and I will be answering your question.
I reviewed your history and the photo attached with the question.
The red dot shows a small subconjunctival hemorrhage.
No need to be worried about it as it will not cause any problem.
It occurs because of minor injury or following rubbing of the eye. This will resolve over 1-2 weeks and no treatment is generally required.
If there is pain then need to take analgesic tablets otherwise there is no need for any treatment and no need to be worried about it also.
Hope this information is helpful to you. Do write back to me for further questions.
Thank you
With regards
No need to be worried about it.
