Question: I have a swollen and itchy hand, it started from insect bite while cutting fallen tree branches. What is it ?
How to treat it ?

Hello,
It sounds like you have had an allergic reaction to the insect bites. Keep the hand elevated above the level of the heart as much as possible. Taking anti-inflammatory medication like ibuprofen may also help. Antihistamines like benadryl or claritin may help with the itching. Stay well hydrated and use cool compresses on the hand.
If it becomes very painful or red then infection may have developed and you should see a doctor.
