Question: Hi my mom has swelling in her foot and leg for past 1 year. Doctors say it is DVT . My query is - can it be cured?

What is the number/Size of these swellings?
Have you got Color Doppler Diagnosis?
If its suggestive of DVT,It Could be Varicose Veins and needs further investigations to reply if it could be cured or not?
Now a days with better techniques Most of the DVT's could well treated and could be prevented from Further recurrence,which is a riskier phenomenon.
Pleas update the Color Dopler or doctors notes.
Await to have a pictcure of the foot sweeling,to be replied on next session.
