Suggest Treatment For Tailbone Pain
Question: I woke with extreme pain in my tailbone, and back of my thighs. Almost feels numb. When I stand straight up after about 15 seconds, a shooting pain through those areas doubles me over. When I'm sitting it's fine, but in order to walk at all, I have to hunch over, and even then, pain shoots through the back of my thighs and lower back after a minute.
Brief Answer:
Get xray done.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have read your query.
You haven't tell if there is any history of fall or trauma etc.
Anyways for your exact diagnosis to be made get xray of lumbosacral spine in AP and Lateral view, xray of coccyx in lateral view and send me the report.
I want disc spaces and shape of coccyx.
Till then have tab.aceclofenac100mg+ thiocolchicoside4mg twice a day by prescription of your family doctor, as its,not over the counter.
Avoid weightlifting, squatting.
Always use coccyx cushion while sitting.
Have sitz bath daily.
I hope it helps.
Thanks,
