Will Ozone Injection Therapy Help To Cure The Pain In Coccyx Region?
I am Mrs. Ramani Narayanamoorthy retired teacher, age 68 years residing at Velachery, Chennai-42 accustomed to only modern medicine since last several decades, I am a little obese/diabetic. Now I have pain in coccyx region, on bending forward, on motion. Is it curable permanently by your Ozone Injection therapy please. my Email: YYYY@YYYY
Ozone therapy is somewhat of a controversial issue to be honest. In the United States, the food and drug administration has determined that there are no medical uses for ozone therapy beyond disinfecting various surgical instruments, meaning that it has no therapeutic use for any known disease. However, there is an emerging amount of information that ozone therapy does have some beneficial effects in certain wound treatment, possibly treating diabetic wounds and overall stimulating the immune system.
Unfortunately I was unable to find any information or research studies where it is useful in treatment for pain in the coccyx. This does sound like a musculoskeletal or neurological issues to be honest and I truthfully do not think that Ozone therapy would be beneficial or in truth, safe. I mean this sincerely, I would be concerned with attempting to use this as a means to treat your current pain symptoms.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
