Suggest Treatment For Trigeminal Neuralgia And Numbness In Hands

Read below
Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.
When treatment for a condition doesn't work of course the first thing to be thought of is whether the diagnosis is correct. When it comes to carpal tunnel though, if the symptoms fit with the nerve conduction studies there is little doubt about the diagnosis. If on the other hand the diagnosis was only from the symptoms I suggest that nerve conduction studies to confirm damage to the median nerve are done.
If/when the diagnosis is confirmed then further management options need to be considered. Braces are always the first option. Over the counter non steroid anti-inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen are also commonly used. If that is not enough then local injection with corticosteroids are the usual next step.
If none of these conservative measures is effective then surgery should be considered. It is a simple procedure done with local anesthesia and you'd be home on that same day.
Of course risk factors for carpal tunnel syndrome such as diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, low thyroid function etc should be considered.
I remain at your disposal for other questions.
